rule 5: talk to adults as if they were people.

after the race i sat at the finish line with bridge and gio for a bit, but then had to get ready to head north. i rode my bike home superfast, cleaned up, packed, stuck claire in a crate and put a big pack on my back, and we (miss claire and i) then took the bus (through china town, claire's first time) and bart to meet leilani and shannon and head to sea ranch. best carpool ever, david bowie induced detour and all.
