rule 1: to be interesting - be interested.

gwen complimented me!! she liked my outfit. compliments from gwen are few and far between loads of comments about how i need a haircut or my clothes are too big or that i look tired. it was nice. she just got back from india and she has been in a great mood, it's been fun.

i started tutoring a west oakland girl, she's in 3rd grade, she's funny. i think she lied to me and told me she's a cheerleader when in fact she just wishes she was a cheerleader. i should tell her that when i was little i secretly wished i was a cheerleader too, maybe we could bond over that, but she doesn't know i'm on to her fib. for now we'll just play guess who and sorry and work on multiplication tables. she gave me a huge hug before she left yesterday, it made me happy.

just loaded up my library book request list, i want books now!!

and i just got open season on netflix....i swear somebody hacked my account. seriously? open season?

ma, taxi, and judy got stranded in truckee overnight, i'll have to wait just a little longer to get my puppy back and give ma a hug.

i'm excited for the race this weekend, and for sea ranch next week!
