i took the ferry out there, which meant i had a few minutes to visit with these guys (they were dad's fav) before departure...
cruised past alcatraz on the way. i went there with my dad last summer (sigh)...
then onto the island. the view of tiburon was pretty, as was the view of the city, the bridge, and all the sail boats on the bay.

i was ferrying solo, everyone else was riding with friends. it would have been fun to enjoy a glass of wine or a beer or something, but i'm not a solo drinker so i just watched everyone else having their fun, next time i'm bringing people with me (adam, get home, i know you're down).
(not worthy of a full post but still noteworthy, i went out saturday night to a karaoke bar by my house for leslie's bill's birthday, wore my gold dress!! woot! finally a chance to dress up, even if i was only out for couple hours.)
