BUMMER

Since Highway 1 washed out, I just found out the Big Sur Marathon route has been modified. It's now an out-and-back (ew), and it won't include Bixby Bridge or Hurricane Point (EW!).

I don't know anyone who likes an out-and-back, and Hurricane Point and Bixby are the reason people run this race. I'm so disappointed, I've been looking forward to this since I started running marathons. I don't want to run it, and I don't think they'll let me roll it over to next year.
