sundance!

i went to 1412 kensington for the last time this weekend, it was a sadder goodbye than you'd expect. that house is so cute, ma and kev made it into a perfect little home, and now they're leaving. but hey, a fantastic house in salt lake city still isn't as good as saratoga.

since i was already in salt lake, we decided to go on down to this little moviefest thing called sundance. we saw The Flaw, to.get.her, Here, Pariah, and We Were Here. we also ate at 3 of ma's favorite restaurants for the last time (oasis, squatters-tofu tacos!, and mazza), drank lots of wine, slept in until almost 8 o'clock, and did lots of crosswords. and the piece the resistance: i made a dark chocolate marzipan ritter sport last for 5 entire movies. what?! i know.

here's the cast and some of the crew of Pariah, all cracking up at the guy in yellow. he's been to poughkeepsie. of the films we saw, this was by far the favorite. i'm pretty sure it will hit theaters in the next year or so, you'll have a chance to see it too.

looking forward to more sundance fun next year, don't know where we'll stay or how we'll get around, but i'm sure we'll figure it out.
