wi-fi is a "word" that has bugged me for years. i couldn't figure out what the heck it stood for. i thought i was dumb for not just knowing. wireless...finternet? why the heck is there an f?!? ugh.
well, i just remembered that this word bugged me and i looked it up on wikipedia. it means nothing. it's a word some techy made up because the real name of the technology was just a bunch of numbers.
that's annoying. lame techies making me doubt myself. no more doubt, i'm just as rad as ever.

i urban dictionaried it:
A way to get Internet access, the term Wi Fi is a play upon the decades-old term HiFi that describes the type of output generated by quality musical hardware, Wi Fi stands for Wireless Fidelity and is used to define any of the wireless technology in the IEEE 802.11 specification - including (but not necessarily limited to) the wireless protocols 802.11a, 802.11b, and 802.11g. The Wi-Fi Alliance is the body responsible for promoting the term and its association with various wireless technology standards.
um. yeah. kay.
but it doesn't stand for wireless fidelity, people just started saying that because it worked. it's just some garbage that someone made up. shatner could have made it up...execpt then it would have been cool instead of lame.
whateves, i'm over it.
dude, lesladaisey is trying to make you doubt your coolness. use the force young jedi.
I would never try to make T doubt her coolness. I thought it was funny because Wi Fidelity made me think of High Fidelity which was possibly one of John Cusack's better movies (aside from Grosse Point Blank) and also made me think of Jack Black, which made me smile lots.
So, really, it was my coolness doubted I guess.
T is too cool for school yo.
